The Life of a Web Designer is Great... or Not!

So you think the life of a web designer is great? Just have to get your creative juice flowing, do some fancy designs with CSS, HTML and Javascript, use an effective layout and bam, you have created a kick-ass website for your client and their customers to drool over. Right?

Think again. Let's say your client has a godawful design straight from the 1990s. You ask 'em about their business, what are their target clients, and come up with a beautiful mock up.

Fantastic! Now the client wants to add more colour, cute kitty, some "thoughts from his dog who means a lot to his life". And then some more. So here's the "polished" version.

Weeeeeeeee!

You either think

Just clench my teeth. Hey, I need to put food on the table.

or

F**k You, Pay Me!

or

Get a decent job with an anonymous Big Company.

Your choice, but sure is one heck of a ride!
